We managed to tear Catalin Bratosin (Pragmatic Play’s Head of Games) away from his hectic 5 slots per month schedule, to ask him these and many other questions.
Catalin Bratosin Teases Upcoming Pragmatic Play slots
We have to say, Catalin Bratosin likes to keep his cards close to his chest, but we still managed to get some secrets out of him. The most exciting: We are getting two more Megaways adaptation before the end of March. The only thing is, he is hesitant to tell us their names.
Read on to see what else we managed to get learn about their upcoming releases and the future of Pragmatic Play. If you get inspired to try Madame Destiny Megaways or any of their other games, we also have an overview of all new Pragmatic Play casinos.
Q: What do you think is the main strength of the Megaways system, is this something you’ll continue to do?
It is a very popular brand, appealing to a wider array of people and allying itself to improved gameplay. The Megaways titles have added a new feel to our portfolio and we look forward to adding more to our offering in the future.
Q: Your new release, Madame Destiny Megaways, became the 6th “classic” Pragmatic Play slot to be revamped with the Megaways system. How do you choose which games are recreated as a Megaways slot?
There’s no hard a fast rule. We pick games that we think will be best suited for adding Megaways to it. These are usually our most popular games that can still add value to the market, while adding new stages to the game series. So far, this method has been hugely successful for us, so we’re looking forward to adding another game to the collection.
Q: Are you planning any upcoming Megaways revamps? We’d love to get the scoop on the next few Pragmatic Play slots we can expect to see again in brand new versions.
There will be two more Megaways games released this quarter alone, but unfortunately at this stage, we can’t reveal any more than that. However, we can’t wait to see fans’ reactions when they are launched.
Q: What about other releases? We know our readers would love to know if there will be another John Hunter slot in 2021.
We’ve got two fantastic themed titles coming out, Gates of Olympus and The Hand of Midas, which we’re hugely excited about. As for John Hunter, everyone’s favourite adventurer might make a return, but that’s all we can say for now.
Q: If you can’t tell us, we understand, but are there any plans to launch another branded slot after the success of Peaky Blinders?
Peaky Blinders was a great success and a really interesting project for us to be involved with. While nothing has been confirmed yet, we’re definitely eager to create even more branded titles.
Q: Are there more exciting features under development that players can expect in the near future? Feel free to just drop some hints.
We launched our Pragmatic Replay feature earlier this year, which adds a completely unique engagement tool and are really excited for players to enjoy that. For slots, there are plenty of exciting new additions to plenty of titles. We can’t reveal all our secrets at this stage, but we’re hopeful 2021 establishes some very exciting ones.
Q: Finally, what can players expect and look forward to from Pragmatic Play in 2021?
As always, there’s plenty in the pipeline for Pragmatic Play. We’ll continue to develop up to five slots a month with a real diverse array of content. Megaways, original content, our 3rd party partnerships with Reel Kingdom and Wild Streak will continue to feature as well – and that’s just the slots! Our multi-product approach is bearing fruit, so expect plenty of Live Casino, Bingo and Virtual Sports product launches as well. It’s set to be another landmark year for us.
