They provided a hypothetical instance of a player who deposits £100 monthly, and then withdraws £20. Under the current system, they would still only have £50 to withdraw within the limit, but now the withdrawals will also be accounted for, so the same player would have £70 to withdraw and play with.
There are still the same options for daily, weekly, and monthly limits for players. LeoVegas Group said:
“Currently, if you have deposit limits set on your account, these are calculated strictly on the amount you deposit. However, from 1st March 2025 your deposit limit will consider both deposits and withdrawals which will apply to daily, weekly, and monthly limits.
“There is nothing you need to do,” said the statement. “This change will be automatically applied. Please note that this change will not apply to limits our safer gambling team may set on your behalf.”
Sky Bet recently changed their rules to be very similar and to allow the deposit limits to also account for withdrawals, and the other brands under the Flutter Entertainment branch are already considering withdrawals within deposit limits.
