The changes are mostly aesthetic, but they do affect the video slot’s overall immersion. A lot of the backdrop furnishings are completely removed, as is the Christmas bauble bingo cage. Sure, it’s not exactly a dealbreaker, but I do feel like this mobile version is missing that special touch that makes the desktop version truly pop.

A more significant omission here is the removal of some helpful statistics and this does affect the experience more severely. When playing on a desktop, I was able to see the specific amount I had wagered so far and could easily compare this to the prizes I had won so far. It helped me to decide on buying additional spins, but these figures are completely removed from the mobile version of the game. While it doesn’t affect the core elements of the game, it does remove a very useful function.

The game is also restricted to portrait mode, and whenever I tried switching to landscape, I was presented with a message asking me to turn my device around. They’re minor issues in the larger scope of the game, but I would have rather these options were available on the mobile version of the game.
