Upon firing up the game, I was welcomed by a rather hearty-looking Irish pub which follows the video slot stereotypes filled with leprechauns, clovers and anything green. These symbols display your typical red-haired Irish leprechaun and have win multipliers of anywhere between 2x to 100x your win.
Of course, to claim the win multiplier, the wild symbol will need to form part of a fresh win. Wilds have no payout value but instead step in for any missing pay symbols that could form a winning cluster. They can also connect with existing wins, increasing their symbol count to help you hit better payouts.
The win multiplier symbols disappear when they form part of a win, but a new one will tumble from the top of the reels with the next set of tokens. During the free spins bonus, this setup gets a pretty significant upgrade.
Scatter Symbol
To access the free spins bonus, you’ll need no less than three scatter symbols. These tokens show up as golden bells with the word bonus on them, and whenever you score three in one round, you get 10 free spins. You can trigger the free spins bonus with additional scatter symbols, and each one will add another two initial free spins to your tally.
Scatter symbols don’t have a payout value, but they also land during the free spins bonus. Three scatter symbols in the bonus mode get you another three free spins, and any additional scatter symbols on top of that add another two bonus rounds.
Free Spins
The main difference during the free spins bonus comes with the win multipliers, which are significantly boosted. Rather than being tied to a single symbol, you get a global win multiplier starting at 1x.
