Chumba Social Media Giveaways & Special Contests

From time to time, Chumba will announce social media giveaways and free coin contests using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I didn’t see any upcoming giveaways, but they posted about their ongoing Battle Royale tournament. Winners claim a slice of 2 million GC and 200,000 SC as players from Chumba and LuckyLand Slots battle for gold and riches on pre-selected games.

Bonus Playthrough Requirements

Before you redeem Sweeps Coins that you received as the result of a bonus, you must satisfy 1x playthrough requirements. In simpler terms, you have to play the full value of your SC bonus at least once before exchanging them for any sort of prize.

Usability of Chumba

Chumba benefits from a beginner-friendly user interface, and their layout makes simplicity look modern with the black-on-red color scheme. It’s easy to switch between game modes, navigate their library, purchase coins, see your favorite games, and sort by category with just a few clicks.

Clicking the menu button at the top-right corner of your screen reveals all their game categories, basic account settings, a link to your history, and responsible social gaming tools right above the fine print and their ticket form. I like how efficiently their site is organized on desktop and via mobile device.

What Games Can I Play at Chumba?

Like many social and sweepstakes casinos, Chumba largely relies on a deep selection of slots and the chance to win a juicy jackpot to keep players entertained. They offer a handful of table games, but they really shine in the bingo department with endless tournaments and tens of mini-games that deliver double the dose of entertainment.

They make use of independent software from Virtual Gaming Worlds (VGW), which means that you won’t find quite a few of their most popular titles at competing social and sweepstakes casinos. I had loads of fun embodying my heroic side as I played Hercules 10k Ways, and I remained vigilant on the prairie as I played Roaring Strike. Chumba’s games come preloaded with eye-catching graphics and sound effects that fully immerse you with every spin.

If you click on the heart symbol next to a game, you can favorite it and come back to it later. You can see your recently played games by clicking Home. They’re on the top row of that page.

Chumba Table Games

Chumba’s collection of table games is very limited, but they cover the basics in great detail. I explored classic blackjack and Back Blackjack from Golden Rock Studios before moving onto Solitaire and Jacks or Better video poker. I came away quite impressed by the quality of their table games.

Realistic sound effects and satisfying animations vaguely resemble an actual casino experience. I was shocked by the virtual announcer’s voice when I loaded up Back Blackjack. Even though it isn’t anything like going to Las Vegas, it’s a decent substitute for players who are short on time. I would like to see Chumba add virtual baccarat and roulette to their collection in the near future.

Chumba Live Casino

Chumba doesn’t have any live games at the moment, but they’re not the only social casino that could benefit from implementing a live dealer studio. If they follow in the footsteps of McLuck or Stake.us at some point, they’ll become an even more tempting option for live table game lovers.

Chumba Bingo

After clicking on the “Bingo” tab at the top of my screen, I was redirected to a separate “Bingo” section at Chumba.

They have several ongoing tournaments around-the-clock. I saw two 90-ball tournaments and three 75-ball events during the week I spent testing Chumba, but I know from past experience that Chumba changes things up every so often.

The feature I found most interesting is that you can play slots and bingo at the same time. Click on any of the 36+ mini-games in the right sidebar to load a miniature slot at the top-right corner of your screen. I decided to play Buffalo Blitz 2 while I waited for Party Poppin’ Bingo to begin:

Clicking on the two arrows next to the exit icon makes the game full-screen, which I found to be a lifesaver. Chumba is one of the only social casinos with such a major focus on bingo players.

Chumba Instant Win Games

I found 10+ instant-win slots and bingo games in Chumba’s collection. Play Spinstar, Elite of Evil and Fruit Punch: Up to whet your appetite before enjoying exclusives like Lucky Numbers or the Day of the Dead themed Calavera Bingo.

They host a classic variant of 75-ball bingo where you can play with up to six tickets at a time. Epic Gems puts a futuristic twist on the original Minesweeper game, so be sure to check that out if you’re feeling nostalgic about your fossil-aged Windows XP computer.

Chumba has 10+ lottery-style scratch cards on deck. Their scratch cards benefit from immersive graphics and varying themes, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. You can play 1001 Coins, Touch Down, Chumba Coins, Diamonds Scratch, Fortune, The Link: Scratch, Pharaoh’s Treasure, Golden Ace, Kitty Puzzle, and Spinstar Scratch. I won 250k GC playing Touch Down.

From adorable kitty cats and Playstation-themed scratch cards to Ancient Egyptian expeditions and bank robberies, Chumba demonstrates excellent variety with this subset of their collection.

Chumba on iPhone & Android

Chumba has a GC-only app for iOS and Android, but you can access their mobile website via your smartphone’s web browser. The app is missing loads of games compared to how the website looks on my computer and smartphone. You won’t find any tables or specialties.

If you click on the “Real Money Play” button within the app, you’re redirected to Chumba’s actual website on your smartphone. I enjoyed lightning-fast loading speeds, and all their titles are sized appropriately for mobile. The website is the better option than the app if you want to play games using SC.

Chumba App

Chumba has a downloadable app for iOS and Android, but you won’t enjoy the full social and sweepstakes experience on mobile. The app, which is called Chumba Lite on both the App Store and Google Play, doesn’t allow for SC contests. In other words, there’s no opportunity to redeem prizes.

I found the app to be pretty usable, but with a few glitches along the way. Whenever they get around to fixing some of the bugs on iOS, I can see Chumba’s app becoming the go-to download for social casino players looking to have fun with no financial commitment.

Chumba Purchase Methods Available to Fund Coins

There’s never any purchase required to play games at Chumba Casino, and they kept me well stocked on free coins from the moment I created a new account. I received 2 million GC and 2 free SC right after signing up, and I got 200,000 GC + 1 free SC every day after that for a week.

If you find yourself running low on GC, you’ll get a free boost from Chumba when your balance dips to zero. As I was playing games, my GC balance reached zero and I got 12,500 GC out of nowhere.

Despite the free options, I also decided to explore the process of purchasing GC and redeeming SC winnings for cash prizes.

Players can purchase Gold Coins and will often receive free Sweeps Coins with VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Skrill, Apple Pay, or the Chumba Prepaid MasterCard. They do a good job of covering all the basics, but I’d like to see them accept PayPal or Venmo to make purchases even easier. I didn’t have any other issues buying GC at Chumba, and the entire process took me 30 seconds.

I was initially testing Chumba on my computer, so I decided to use my debit card in lieu of Apple Pay. I clicked “Get Coins,” selected the $0.50 GC package, entered my card number, ticked the checkbox to save my information for future purchases, and clicked Pay to finalize the purchase. Immediately after I purchased GC, it was sent to my balance and made available for me to use.

Chumba Redemption Times

You can redeem SC that you won through gameplay for cash prizes and gift cards immediately. Chumba requires players to win a minimum of 10 SC for gift card redemptions, but this figure climbs to 100 SC for online banking transfers. I chose the cash prize and got $100 sent to my checking account via Trustly once I collected 100 SC. I saw my prize in my account 48 hours after requesting a transfer.

Chumba Customer Service

I was able to get in touch with real agents at Chumba through email, Facebook, Twitter (X), and their “Contact Us” form by submitting a support ticket.

I sent an email to support@chumbacasino.com about verifying my account details and I got a reply four hours later. I used their Contact Us form to reach out and I was met with an identical response time. After asking a general question, I noticed a reply from a real person in 4 hours.

Getting a response on social media took a bit longer as Chumba doesn’t necessarily have staff overlooking their Twitter (X) and Facebook accounts at all times. I was able to get a response on Facebook within 8 hours, and an agent replied to my Twitter DM 12 hours after I sent it out. While Chumba does have an Instagram account, I wasn’t able to get a response from anyone.

Chumba’s FAQ is thoroughly written, highly informative and beginner-friendly. They feature 105 articles surrounding topics like verification, technical issues, casino bonuses, prize redemptions, casino games, purchase methods, responsible social gameplay, and much more. They don’t offer a live chat feature or phone number, but I didn’t have any issues with the professionality of their agents.

Chumba Security and Trustworthiness

Chumba is a trustworthy, secure, licensed, and reputable social casino that operates in 46 U.S. states. They employ 256-bit encryption to protect your bank details, card number, and personal information. I had to complete their thorough identity verification process before claiming prizes.

Their KYC process doesn’t beat around the bush, and it didn’t take very long for me to notice a return email saying I was verified. They blend maximal security with speed and efficiency, which isn’t always the case with competing platforms.

Chumba Compared to Similar Social Casinos

Chumba isn’t your only option when it comes to social casino gaming, and I’ve been exploring some of the newer competitors on the market lately. Chumba has a mobile app whereas sites like Zula Casino and WOW Vegas do not. It’s worth noting that their iOS app prohibits SC play.

If you like slots, slots, and more slots, you’d probably find WOW Vegas or Zula Casino to be the better fit. Chumba clocks in with 183 reels, but Zula Casino has 700 slots and WOW Vegas has 800 games. Chumba doesn’t have nearly as many flashy reels and progressive jackpots as Zula Casino or WOW Vegas, but both of these platforms only have slots games on deck. Chumba features 5 table games, making them a better option for those who desire a more well-rounded experience.
